Thank you to everyone who has donated very generously to our charity day. And particular thanks to year 9 who have organised an excellent day - the students have definitely had their sugar quota for the day (or probably a week!) from the cake sale. I am very proud of how generous our families are – we have collected a range of products for the different food bank charities. Charity Day encapsulates our motto as we seek to make a difference to the lives of everyone else around us.
I am always delighted to hear positive news from the community and a special shout out must go to Szymon and Krzysztof for helping man who had become trapped under his car after the release collapsed. They raised the car and supported it and he was able to crawl out uninjured.
Thank you for all your comments on the excellent revision evening hosted by Mr Maurice last night. He is doing a revision evening for years 9 and 10 on Thursday 30th March - please can I encourage you to attend as the strategies really do help students revise successfully for their exams.
We have an exciting programme for the deep learning days and we would be grateful if you could remind your children about where they should be and at what time.
Wishing you an enjoyable weekend, Mrs Larizadeh
