This has been a great week in all sorts of ways, from excellent focus and engagement in lessons to the paper aeroplane competition in House Huddles! It is always a delight to see students working together and enjoying themselves, and this week has encapsulated our community spirit.
Mr Walsh led a very important assembly to reflect our Anti-Bullying message and you can see more detail in the section below. The most important thing in our community is kindness – we want everyone to able to come to school and enjoy their time here. We have excellent pastoral support across the year groups and if you are ever worried about anything, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s tutor.
We are starting the assessment and mock examination ‘season’. Year 8 and 10 start their assessments next week, Year 11 in a couple of weeks’ time and Years 7 and 9 after Christmas. The purpose of these assessments is for the students to understand what they know or don’t know, so teachers can support them to close any gaps during the rest of the academic year.
Thank you for your continued support; it is much appreciated.
Best wishes, Mrs Larizadeh
