Newsletter 16/12/22

The last few weeks have been full of our HAWI traditions: The Winter Celebration, Decorate the door competition, Festive dress, Christmas lunch and House assemblies/parties. I have really enjoyed seeing the students getting involved and making memories together. The Winter Celebration was excellent and special mention should go to Year 7 who performed with such enthusiasm.

Overall, it has been a terrific term and as always I am very proud of the students who continue to work hard and show commitment to the Academy. If you look back through all of the newsletters for the term, you will see the talent we have across all year groups - whether it is entering the many house competitions, winning word of the week, participating in sporting competitions, performing in Music or Drama, creating amazing art work, getting to the final of the National Cyber competition or getting stuck into Explosive Experiments in Science. There are so many more highlights that I could mention but they will fill the whole newsletter!

I would like to thank you for all your support and engagement in the Academy and wish you lots of happiness over the holidays and new year.
