I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. As we return for the final term of the academic year, I always like to think of the summer term as our celebration term — a time when we reflect on how far our students have come and take pride in all they have achieved. For our students, this term is a chance to showcase the knowledge and skills they’ve developed throughout the year, especially in upcoming assessments and exams. It is also a time for us, as a school community, to come together and celebrate their many accomplishments at a variety of exciting events. As always, we’ve planned a rich and engaging programme of opportunities, and here are just some of the highlights to look forward to:
• Outdoor Activity Week for all students in Years 7–10
• Arts Week, showcasing creativity across the school
• The much-anticipated Year 11 and 13 Prom Events
• Celebration day and evening
• Rewards Trips for outstanding effort shown throughout the year
• House Trips to celebrate team spirit and participation
Further details about each event will be shared with you in due course, but we wanted to give you a glimpse of what’s ahead as we step into this vibrant and rewarding term.
