Thank you to Chartwells who created a Coronation Lunch for us today; we were treated to the Coronation quiche and you can find the recipe here, though I have heard that Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation chicken is still proving to be more popular!

It was a pleasure to walk around the school today and see all the students engaged in their lessons - Year 11 GCSE students were being wonderfully creative in their GCSE Art exam while Year 7 were focused and engaged in their PE lessons.

Students are receiving many rewards for their excellent effort in lessons and I had the delight of having afternoon tea with some Year 8 students who have achieved their silver award.

With the shorter weeks, school is even busier and it is great to see students working hard and engaging in all the opportunities we have on offer.
