Happy New Year!
School has started very smoothly today and it was great to see all the students looking very smart and ready to learn. As ever, the calendar is busy for the term ahead and I am optimistic that we will be able to do everything we have planned. If we have to make any decisions to change anything in light of Covid, we will keep you informed. Extracurricular activities begin on Monday so please ensure your child has signed up for at least one extracurricular activity after school. All of the information is in the newsletter.
Other events this half term are a pastoral evening for parents on the 20th January, Year 9 options and parents evening on the 27th January, Charity Day on the 4th February and the lower school disco on Thursday 10th February. After half term, we have Year 7 Parents evening on the 3rd March, the community Quiz night on the 10th March, whole School production of Hairspray on the 16th and 17th March and Deep learning days on the 30th and 31st March. In addition, there are many house and subject events.
I look forward to seeing you at one of the events this term. Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Larizadeh
